The cowslips tall her pensioners be:
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours,
In those freckles live their savours:
I must go seek some dewdrops here
And hang a pearl in every cowslip's ear.
-William Shakespeare- A Midsummer Night's Dream
March always seems to get our hopes up here in MN. It teases us with warm days. Then shocks us with a 6” snowfall, and one last week of winter.
I spent my snow day this week dreaming of summer and creating new pieces with a summer theme.
This first piece is “Dreaming of a Midsummer’s Night”
The second is “A single rose be my garden”
These pieces are now available on Etsy.
Here’s to Summer!
“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.”
-William Shakespeare- A Midsummer Night's Dream
Thank you so much for visiting!
Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I do love creating these pieces.
ReplyDeleteSuch romantic, fairy filled jewelry! I love both pieces and admire your creativity Renee! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the most innovative ideas I've seen in a while. This jewelry is really beautiful after you recycle (there's got to be a better word for what you do here!) it. That is amazing to me to take vintage jewelry and to update into today's fashion. I love it!
