Native American lore says: “Crow likes to steal shiny bright objects; always a clown. Looking for the bright and shiny aspects of life."
So like the crow I’m always looking for “the bright and shiny aspects of life”.
Spring is in the air, and here at Nostalgic Summer I have been busy purchasing goodies to create some great new Spring/Summer pieces.
I recently attended a fantastic estate sale with the mother load of vintage items.
Here are some photos of my before
and after creations.
As you can see I have collected lots of great vintage trinkets to create with. Check out my shop on Etsy at:http://tinyurl.com/nostalgicsum
Love it! Checking out your etsy now.

Thank you Judy and Mia! I love collecting trinkets, jewels and "shiny objects" to create pieces with a nostalgic feel.
ReplyDeleteThese pieces are gorgeous....I also checked out your Etsy Shop...makes me wish I had a job right now...: )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces - makes me want to see them and to hold them up close. I love the way you have created jewelry to be used today but with that nostalgic feel of yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the positive comments! And Penelope you have hit the nail on the head, I love the romantic look of vintage pieces!
ReplyDeleteI love the term 'Repurposed Jewellery". It says it all! Some beautiful pieces of treasure. Loved the Etsy Shop too.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog on LinkedIn's The Blog zone discussion group. Love your collection. My friend and I are selling jewelry online too but we are offering tribal crafts and arts. I love your collection and the vintage jewelry that you have.

Followed you here from LinkedIn's The Blog zone group too. You have some really beautiful pieces here. My God-mother used to have a Chest of Drawers which she kept all her jewels in and as a little girl I loved to see her treasures. Your blog has brought back fond memories of those days. Thank you for sharing.
